When most people think of painting they think of hard work, huge messes, rollers and brushes, and an ultimate headache. When we think of painting, we think of lights. Yes, you can paint with lights! It’s actually a beautiful sight to see. Rochester, Michigan ‘paints’ their downtown in lights every Christmas season! Hayward, Wisconsin hosts the American Berkenbeiner, a skiing event held annually in February. Cross-country skiers converge on Hayward, and the city thought a ‘painting’ of lights was the perfect backdrop! Take a look at the link below: http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/video/8451442-birkie-opening-ceremony-a-parade If this is a little too elaborate for you, why not scale this down to a DIY project? Imagine your daughter coming home from school to a bedroom wall ‘painted’ pink (or her favorite color) on her birthday! Or your living room ‘painted’ red and green for Christmas! Simply run guide wire (or heavy duty fishing line) along the ceiling and floor of your chosen wall, choose your light color and string the lights up and down using the guide wire. If this is a project you’d like to undertake on either a small scale or a larger scale, we can help. Just give us a call and we would be glad to coach you through the process.
